POISON CONTAINERS*
PART I
I was introduced to this fundamental psychohistorical concept by no other figures than Lloyd deMause and Caspar Schmidt over breakfast in the Mid '80's.
It struck like an intellectual lightening bolt, cleaving the night sky of emotional thinking like a meteor shower, as I understood at one stroke why they had did it. Once you get clear on what a "poison container" is, as psychohistorians speak, an entire perspective on human experience of reality opens up. Understanding the soul-shock in juxtaposing "ZYKLON B" and
"the Jews", texts of these tokens are always kept vehemently apart, even while being secretly brought together by the obsession to do so (keep them apart). The same forces in the collective unconscious that brought these together in pre-WWII Germany now use the same NZ X-Box to keep them absolutely apart -- meanwhile constantly juxtaposing each with its opposite. But this is just the form of poisonous discourse itself; "poison container" is a poison container.
What makes "poison containers" so uniquely valuable is the logical clarity of both the double sign use and what it, as a unity, communicates. One double Squares the other, cancelling questions of truth by the coincidence. The conceptual unity, through this, makes it a 'simple' idea, in the classical sense of "wholly contained in the understanding through itself". The fact that human historical Group-process in early 20th century Germany should so grotesquely illustrate what it can be used to juxtapose gives this "idea" metaphysical status.
Elaborating the Doubles:
Poison: A. literal: toxic substance in the body's bloodstream
B. symbolic: toxic (non-self-perpetuating) S* in bloodstream of communication.
Container: A. literal: a spatial enclosure
B. symbolic: any external representation (word, picture, object, scene)experienced as bounding ('defines") a particular given qualitative content, as "in" it.
"Poison Container" breaks down to communicate:
A.-A. => cannister of ZyklonB (literal-to-literal)
A.-B. <= hysterical reversal: symbolic containers convert S* into physical states (symbolic to literal, reversed)
B.-A. => citizens in Obama's Nanny State (symbolic-to-literal)
B.-B. => the MainstreamMedia. poisoning itself to itself (symbolic-to-symbolic)
PART II. Remembering John
"The Beatles", words and rock group to which they applied, are (non-poisonous) emotional containers of much 60's and later mass Group experience."
The statue, work of at, or idol, "contains" the energy its supplicants feel; it projectively 'feels them back'. "I am he and he is me and we are all together." By their 'popularity', a particular Group-fantasy energy, John Lennon and The Beatles resonated on the same psychic bandwidths as The Jesus churches preached about, and he knew it. After all, they were mop-top British idol kids, turning on with Dylan, and crashing through into domains of mass consciousness to such an extent, with such unkown but inevitable historic conseuences, why shouldn't they parallel themselves with Bible idols? Their audience had to be a million or so larger; their message had to surely be as positive and all inclusive as Christianity; more up-to-date, if less mystical. Thus,"The Beatles', as a sign, S*, can be validly described as "psychic container" of a definite strain of content alternately recalled as "the 60's", "Vietnam war era", "liberal hey-day", etc..
Note on Lennon's parallel: it is a heroic moment when an artist Squares the Truth. It flips people out. He may have got the same treatment the first one did -- offed, as a "god sacrifice". To tie the circle: Jesus, who became Christ, is the container of Fetal Hero fantasies: Holy Spirit as Father; born, baptized, crucified, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, completing humanity's inner cycle. John Lennon became the Re-Born One, living out what "we", any one of us, would do if we were him. Because he was a good man. Gave up 'believing' in external soul containers. Being what he was was enough. This was a big '60's existential moment.

GROUP-FANTASY DERIVATIVES BY REVERSAL application
"Holocaust Jews" => contains James Von Braun's poison blood fantasies, <= Reversed => James Von Braun (as a type) contain "Holocaust Jews" poisoned blood fantasies. Thus when Von Braun attacks and kills a guard at the D.C. Holocaust museam, both sides see the other as poison container. This was evident in the picture of him as looking archetypically Aryan Nazi. Nazi propaganda would have shown characiture hook-nose reversal.
