ONE TEXT (rebirth) Many Tokens (gay, Israel, unbornness)

ONE TOKEN

Re-Birth <= 10. 13/14. '10 33 miners rescued in Chile

In America: Of The Monster Within

Exhibit A: Jon Stewart mocking CNN's truly maudlin tackiness. I argue it does more (CHiLe off a soup-can label-- shows contempt for real heroism down there, site of non-bloodless coup of Allende's democratic government in 1973 by Gen. Pinochet forces backed by the U.S. CIA) Should be viewed under the influence of nitrous oxide for best effect.

MANY TEXTS (<= application of "rebirth", through unconscious associations, to sex, birth, death, election processes.)

The following (below) was written to support the proposal of a Great Debate between...Donna Lupardo, Democratic candidate for NY Assembly .. and Sarah Palin, campaigner-at-large for Tea Bag, Republican-conservative causes.

They are critical, pervasive issues in national discourse, which both of them, and ourselves, are required to use to participate in the democratic process. They concern matters of definition, or re-definion, of key terms used in public discourse for collective identities. Any discussion of them elicits great emotion. Even to bring them together, as attitudes which the process must contain if it is to have any unity,would be a feat of sanity far surpassing Jon Stewart's.

My thought is, these two particular well-rounded figures, not representing Big City culture, bonded by gender, divided by politics; both positive, articulate, forceful human beings with real accomplishments; with huge audience potential are uniquely positioned to shape MainStream America's language of self-reference -- "WHO WE ARE". So uniquely positioned, in fact, that I think it will not get done with best effect without it. The MSM is (required to be) too PC to even say the words (<= repression of dream-thoughts by censoring the tokens). The male view of the issues, while highly relevant, and I would propose myself as moderator, is less grounded in the lived experiences at issue. That leaves a huge opening for Harpur College, where she did graduate work in philosophy (with me, as a matter of fact, but that is another matter entirely) to seize the day, this historical moment, and make The Call: The University invites Ms's Lupardo and Palin to a public debate on these topics for these reasons.

1. Gayness* - redefining "marriage" under civil law by applying "equal", reversal of "unequal in moral judgment", to "rights" => "same-sex couples have equal rights under the law."

This is a political sign-use construct that Squares a self-contradiction (predication on Reversal of standing traditional-religious judgments about homosexual intercourse) It cannot be made the basis of law.

2. Jewishness* - redefining "The State of Israel' as "The Jewish and democratic State of Israel" by applying the religious adjective to the secular name, thus reversing understanding of relationships to "Israel" based on its secular status as an international entity.

=>legal implications: no valid law can be made calling for special treatment for religious designees
=>Squaring recognition of "The Jewish State", tricked-over through unilateral deals inside Israel's government betweeen right-wing factions.

3. US* -- "human We-ness" through fetal Origins - redefining "the person" to include state control over the embryo and fetus in thw womb from the time of conception. This reverses ownership and control of the contents of their body by a female, contradicting conservative pronouncements about "keeping government out of citizen's lives."

The token around which the reversal pivots is "the unborn", referentially matched to the fetus; tautologically matched, after birth, to "the person". Use of "the unborn" out of context gives it a context -- of tacit personal self-reference by whoever pauses to think of the object; that is to say, summons amygdalan memory. It is thus the ultimate power token for cathesis of "right to exist".
That is why Palin, Mother of all Anti-Abortionists is necessary to neocons: Symbolically, Israel is "little Trig".

4. The Mid-Term election process as Re-Birth ritual (<= child sacrifice)
