Dream-thought addressed to the Great Unconscious by his shtick on Sanchez:

(How much licking can one *tribe take in a month and still keep on ticking? -- better to have a rim job like CNN's Sanchez do (what the Big Scripsters have to call) "the Jew rant" this time. Stewart's first tweet was "Just say your sorry, RIck, and you can come back." (<=already recognizing overreaction in the firestorm he knew would follow)

=>2. Who's crucified here? A. Stewart -- the media makes him look like an idiot shilling crack-a-joke comedy for charity causes. Get down, man.

B. Sanchez: lampooned as faux hip BOSS news commentatorman, w/ Rick's list, charts, "TMI". A weird gig, in truth, many have often thought,line a Cuban Giraldo, maybe upgraded. Then, considering his ethnic Cuban anti-Castro Floridian media roots (<-Jeb Bush<-Karl Rove. Also, more pointedly, Sanchez has to be shown pointedly anti-racist. This is the deepest-level reversal: he gets nailed to the cross for anti-Semitism, though never having said the word "Jew", and having demonstrated moral condemnation of racism.

Sanchez actually comes off as the Jeezus crucified here, taking on Big Media, speaking truth to power. Actually, in the interview he does not use the "J-" word; it is put into his mouth. He's not anti-Semitic, and Stewart knows it. So does C. Hitchens, recently 'come out' as having a Jewish mother himself, though often more thought of as pugnacious Catholic. He takes no offence. In Dylan's words, "he's only a pawn in their game." Led along; set up; then crucified. Another cheap token of "look-how-you-look" anti-Semitism foisted off on the public. wow .

"What you see is what you get," as they used to say on TV. Tag: a moralistic political drama (among really good looking guys of great talent and good will, you bet); staged crypto "war" <= ritual contest between delegate positions of Group-Consciousness. "Sometimes you have to take hits for trying to do the right thing".
