I am running into discrimination and hatred everytime I try to address the National Conversation, as such, in categories objectively applicable to its dominant psychological processes. This constitutes denial of my inalienable right to participate in the on-going democratic process in terms that address its source of legitimate authority. This is what the Colonials were required to do to create the grammar used in honoring America today. The controlling grammar was built into the discourse by heritage of English monarchy, predicated on Lordship of Sovereign Majesty of King and Queen. That was the accepted Idea of collective group-authority. ARGUMENTS FOR GAYS* IN THE MILITARY (heard recently).
I. "It's innate" -- justification of male homosexuality.
"(They/we) are born that way."
Reply: this admits it is a condition, not a choice. Therefore 'choice' should not apply to the practice of homosexuality any more than to one born with drools (=*rare laryngal genetic condition, tendency toward which can be 'fed' by later re-inforcements, e.g., stimulating the drool reflex by offering fresh scent, then snatching away the fruit). This can be compared to the relation of whatever genetic variation may be specifically related to what is called now 'sexual orientation', and an entire lifestyle based on it. Some genetic variation may establish, say, tendency toward gentler, more delicate, less testeronish behavior, but it would be absurd, in my opinion, to suppose it propelled compulsion to stroke male, rather than female genitals.
"Can heterosexuals remember a time they chose to be straight?"
Several things need explaining if further discourse is to be possible.
1. if homosexuality is a genetic 'from-birth' condition, this question cannot arise except by confused negation of the idea that physiology, not psychology, determines 'choice' (<=subtext: not choice at all, just called that to tweak).
2. "Straight" has shifted here, by metaphor, through grammar, from: A. predicate of a line in space; to B. predicate of normal sexual development.
Consistently applied, the same metaphor entails "deviate", or "crooked" as predicate for "not-straight". However, these evoke a negative reaction, implying justification for "perverse", under moral use, for those condemning it. Therefore the metaphor is broken*, its disapprobriate implication split-off (repressed), and "gay" gets substituted as psycho-logized opposite of "straight". This reversal loop poisons discourse. Any further appeal to ratonality, predicated on this Reversal*, is already negated by this psychosemiotic move. Here is where the "flip-flop' occurs. Attachment of entirely advententious pseudo-tautology to description of normal sexuality, using appeal to love with pleasure as a bridge, flips the Idea-frame of perception, and recall, of sexuality.
3. MARRIAGE of opposites: sexual - symbolic. These two separate and distinct levels of meaning in marriage vows is split, when uttered w/o the intention that the state of spiritual union expressed be reproduced in the couple's children. "I do", pronounced in sacred context, is a token of the higher totality completed in them. That is how it will be construed by them, against the background of childhood care as source of memory and unconscious fantasy. When the vow does not include this, the effect, consciously intended or not, is to block passing on the transpersonal content. But that is an essential part of the meaning of "love", so expressed. Therefore, the attempt by the homosexual community to redefine marriage in America to include same-sex unions amounts to splitting off and repressing its transpersonal symbolic content.

With these links*, the act of subjecting the female torso to full-body image scan in order to fly on commercial airline symbolizes* (acts out the unconscious fantasy of) stripping ISHTAR of her radiant raiments and exhalted tiara. Whatever She carries away as inner self-awareness from the experience will have been altered by incorporating memory of unwanted extraction of an image of their body. Which can be retained and used later for identifications, or other purposes. It is not just an infringement on privacy, it is an infrigement of HER ME perogatives as Goddess. The tables of formal authoritative relationship have been reversed: the ones She is Lord over ("these TSA people have to get their authority from the people; she's their boss, not vice versa) have become Lord over Her, in the interest of "Hers and all of our) security". But if "rights of citizens" are bequethed to us from the line:

In America, circa 1776, Tom Paine explicitly contrasts the source of authority of anyone speaking or acting officially, in the name of the new nation, as 'the people" -- vrs. authority claimed by priests (God, or His Vicar on earth, the Pope) and military (rule by force).

3. Justice (legacy of the old King's Court, ruled over by the Zodiacal sign of Libra holding balance scales of JUSTICE) TO JUDGE APPLICATION OF THE LAW.
It is self-evident, I think, that if religion and force are left aside as sources of authority, a separate judiciary, or 'legal system' as its called, will be required to make such judgments for 'the people."
And here, also -- as with the oaths, sworn on the Bible -- is where THE SPIRIT OF IMPARTIALITY must permeate use of legal discourse.

TALKING ABOUT WHAT IS NOT (=>momentarily present in consciousness, due to polarity-orientation)
In the 2004 presidential camaign, "FLIP FLOP" sequed from barefoot sandals to John Kerry's stance on Vietnam war (he was famous among veterans who had joined ranks with the opposition). That seque, right there, linking shoe covering with glorified child sacrifice, follows one of Ishtar's ME's. The foot; footwear; moccasins; leather boot; footsoldier . .. .White Boots Marching in a Yellow Land .. .. Marching as to War, with the Cross of Jesus going on before .. .. <= that was us, the "protesters" in the 60's. Now it applies to what has happened at deeper levels, tracing down through inner spaces of Box 2 and Box 3, to pat-down of females, in one case leading to feeling under a cancer victim's prosthetic breast ("what's this?" he was said to have asked.) WTF TSA?
If evil* is spoken of as something in its own right -- predicated on, as a noun in written discourse, as G.W. Bush did as President (Box 3) -- then one who merely entertains or pronounces the word commits themselves to agreeing or disagreeing with putative "assertions" -- true-false sentences -- about it*. For one, "Does evil exist?" You are supposed to answer "Yes" or "No" -- something cannot both be and not be; that is logical absurdity.
This point, that there is no such thing as "non-being", is on record as having been observed, in their own way, by Parmenides, Kant, and Wittgenstein, in each case posing a revolution in metaphysics. "Can neither be referred to or thought"; "Existence not a predicate"; "the sign of negation in logic stands for a sentential function". From simultaneous use and denied-use of the same term, taking a grammatical predicate as something predicated on, texting itself with negation (Parmenides)-> to proscription on grammatical grounds of the offending form (Kant) -> to definitive clarification of the ideal grammar (logical syntax) in which the offending term is barred by rules formation from occuring as subject term of true-false sentences (Wittgenstein). But the definitive clarification 'circled out'on itself, essentially incompletable, because it wound up leaving what was psychologically communicated by "non-being", or "non-existence", out of the logical loop.
If this triad of successive clarifications of what "is" is, when it stands for assertion of existence in strict rational sign-use, then Augustine's noted equation of evil as non-being cannot be true. Either "evil" stands for something, or it doesn't; if it does, then what it stands for is non-existence.
BOX 2 - WHEN WHAT IS NOT, PSYCHOLOGICALLY. IS PREDICATED ON (MYTHs of "The Mind") - Flip-Flop on the Soul-Switch, reversing up=down//in-out directions of 3 -dimensional visual cube perception. This experience itself, together with demonstration of the 'blind spot", proves the existence of consciousness as a self-contained unit for itself,
communicating its experiences to others by means of conscious sign use.
The Psycho-historical narrative of groups as well as individuals belongs to Box 2 discourse: the I-Me-MY soul narrative, from Inside The Placenta/Womb-Surround complex, including the World of Little I of Box 1 assuming devopment of sexuality (after ages 6-12). Adaptation to the shocks the psychic system undergoes in passing through this 'hormonal' stage, more or less traumatic, stamps the personality for life. On the inner side, in reflections between the two Boxes, the personality is limned on the conscious side, as it were, by images of the body interacting with others as happy children: dancing, parties, play, fun, love and .. and expectations to grow, with glimpses of how experiences complete. Adaptation to others, through multi-toned childhood blessings recalled through Archetypes, fills the group-fantasy content of collective life; hence, the energy of the flow-of-process between "I's", and (later differentiated) "ME-WE's". As inclusive of discourse under which "WE" are governed, democratically, this stratum of intermediate personality development is the imposed, obligatory exchange-point of the 3-brains represented by the three Boxes. It is the ISHTAR, Female Goddess, counterpart of the TWO SON-GODS of human transformation, in each of our psyches, as one wall of its containing Box 2 Archetype. "SHE" is who "WE" are, at this stratum of psychological development. Any diminishment of her is a diminishment of us. She is our EVE; also MARY. MARY MAGDELENE and AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL.
The TSA thinking is ultimate diminishment of Group-Historical status of our Archetype by holding "Her" hostage to "Her security". This is the BIG BOX 3 snake brain reversal. "War of liberation of women from Taliband oppressors" is used as a pre-text for torso-profiling the female persona. For each one's individual "ME" it makes hardly any difference at all. Past days, past ways. But as a Collective Image, it is less than lifeless cardboard. It is a defilement of her blood-drained image.
Defilement of image applies to the male psyche as well. The "size matte4s" factor comes in (cf, one airpor guy turning violent at tweaks about genital size, shown on the scanner- image and posted up. In many Arab-Muslim countries, male privacy goes beyond fetish to obsessive. Things happened under the token "Abu Ghraib" that will indelibly stain America's soul with shame forevermore. With these links*, the act of subjecting the female torso to full-body image scan in order to fly on commercial airline symbolizes* (acts out the unconscious fantasy of) stripping ISHTAR of her radiant raiments and exhalted tiara. For one, "Does evil exist?" You are supposed to answer "Yes" or "No" -- something cannot both be and not be; that is logical absurdity.
This point, that there is no such thing as "non-being", is on record as having been observed, in their own way, by Parmenides, Kant, and Wittgenstein, in each case posing a revolution in metaphysics. "Can neither be referred to or thought"; "Existence not a predicate"; "the sign of negation in logic stands for a sentential function". From simultaneous use and denied-use of the same term, taking a grammatical predicate as something predicated on, texting itself with negation (Parmenides)-> to proscription on grammatical grounds of the offending form (Kant) -> to definitive clarification of the ideal grammar (logical syntax) in which the offending term is barred by rules formation from occuring as subject term of true-false sentences (Wittgenstein). But the definitive clarification 'circled out'on itself, essentially incompletable, because it wound up leaving what was psychologically communicated by "non-being", or "non-existence", out of the logical loop.
If this triad of successive clarifications of what "is" is, when it stands for assertion of existence in strict rational sign-use, then Augustine's noted equation of evil as non-being cannot be true. Either "evil" stands for something, or it doesn't; if it does, then what it stands for is non-existence.

The theological problem is, the looping through BC-0- AD, through Jerusalem today has the psychosemiotic effect of cancelling the events there/then which broke the millenial narrative time line for human history. That means leaving out the messianic expections fulfilled in Jesus, as Christ. The "Christ" in him, by mythopoeic template, was a continuation and development of "God" as Spirit foretold by the Prophets, inseminating Mary, daughter David's father, Jesse. (The Virgin Birth of Christ is not a doctrine derived from mistranslation of the aramaic Greek term for temple prostitutes; it loops through Memory 2 (headbrain/thought connections) to pre-cathect a content from the base-line (snakebrain) Memory 1 (survival-soul connections). The 'marriage' of these two Memory-functions, required to synthesize the results of all three brains functioning together as a unity, is the mysterium conjunctionis of esoteric Christianity. 'Jesus' is to the planetary body through Mary (=> the lower S* triad, Memory 2) as "CHRIST" is to the higher (soul) being-body (=> throught the upper triad, Memory 1). Since this loop is post-sexual (including instinctive content already communicated at the conscious level) it is trans-sexual: as if "beyond" sexuality, whereas, if the Man-God loop is retained intact through BC - 0 - AD, it becomes a Symbol of Transformation (C. Jung), faithfully reproduced in the ritual of the Catholic Mass. However, if this inner dimension of communication is left out, there remains only the story of a Roman soldier way-laying Mary, so to speak, inflated by over-love of everything Jewish, into her pretense to "Joseph" of 'immaculate conception' to cover up the shame. This, together with the same word for 'virgin' and 'prostitute', one for non-sexual, the other for sexual feminine, has given the false psychohistorical narrative that Christianity and sexuality are intrinsically opposes. Not the case. They are opposed only in the manner that a 'development through', as a stage, is opposed to a 'development from' an earlier stage; that is to say, not a negation, but completion, though a completion that can only come with provisional negation. It is a majority existing nowhere but in politics, through the psychosemiotic incursion of these two issues relating to sex and birth. Obama's more-cruel-than-Bush drone kills, undercover operations expanded into Yemen, and other regional countries.
Summary: the legitimacy of the two party system, already corrupted by intrusion of sex/birth issues, is corrupted again (doubly*), by using it to predicate war on. (This is why the title of his article, "A Bipartisan Terror Fight" illustrates a "double reverse negative" sign use.)

(<=Constraint on strategic predication) Saving "The Unborn" became the Catholics ceaseless "values issue", inserting their politics into America's birth canal. "Same sex marriage" became the leading snake brain edge of 'liberals', always associated with "Jewish causes", by a large majority, while also allied, qua pro-Israel, with pro-military 'right wing' politics. Whatever it = X, might be, "God is greater than X" is tautological, on the authority of St. Anselm, himself, speaking for Roman Catholic theology.

Publicly, Israel has pledged to deny the Iranians the means to make a bomb but its previous, centrist government also discreetly drew up "day after" contingency plans should Tehran's uranium enrichment pass the military threshold.
At the time, rightist opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu called for Israel to consider preemptive strikes against its arch-foe's nuclear sites. Now prime minister, Netanyahu has reined in such rhetoric while not ruling out the use of force.
In a sign the government is examining a full range of options, Lieberman, the most hawkish member of Netanyahu's coalition, has ordered ministry strategists to draft a paper on "what to do if we wake up and discover the Iranians have a nuclear weapon", said the senior Israeli political source, who declined to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter.
Foreign Ministry planners are also preparing a report on possible responses should the Palestinians unilaterally declare a state taking in all of the occupied West Bank, where continued Israeli settlement has bogged down U.S.-sponsored peace efforts.
Israel is widely assumed to have the Middle East's only nuclear arsenal. Its aircraft bombed Iraq's atomic reactor in 1981 and launched a similar sortie against Syria in 2007.
But many independent experts believe Israeli forces could not take on Iran alone. The Iranians have dug in, dispersed and prepared to defend many of their nuclear facilities.
Even were its warplanes to manage a successful sneak attack, Israel would almost certainly suffer retaliatory Iranian missile salvoes worse than the short-range rocket attacks of Lebanese and Palestinian guerrillas in the 2006 and 2009 border wars.
There would be a wider diplomatic reckoning: World powers are in no rush to see another regional conflagration, especially while sanctions are still being pursued against an Iranian nuclear programme which Tehran says is peaceful.
The planning department of Israel's Foreign Ministry is one of several units guiding government strategy. Chief among these are the National Security Council and an inner cabinet made up of Netanyahu and six other top ministers, including Lieberman. Netanyahu's office declined comment on the Lieberman initiative. A senior Israeli official said: "The government's position is that all attempts have to be made to prevent Iran from going nuclear."
The Israelis have voiced cautious confidence in sanctions. But they also believe Tehran could have a nuclear warhead as soon as 2012-2014, an assessment shared by some in the West.
Israeli defence officials have placed a priority on improving the national missile shield and bolstering a network of civilian bomb shelters -- a posture that may herald resilience in the face of an eventual nuclear-armed Iran or a bracing for reprisals should Israel strike Iran first. Poison Containers
POISON CONTAINERS*
PART I
I was introduced to this fundamental psychohistorical concept by no other figures than Lloyd deMause and Caspar Schmidt over breakfast in the Mid '80's.
It struck like an intellectual lightening bolt, cleaving the night sky of emotional thinking like a meteor shower, as I understood at one stroke why they had did it. Once you get clear on what a "poison container" is, as psychohistorians speak, an entire perspective on human experience of reality opens up. Understanding the soul-shock in juxtaposing "ZYKLON B" and
"the Jews", texts of these tokens are always kept vehemently apart, even while being secretly brought together by the obsession to do so (keep them apart). The same forces in the collective unconscious that brought these together in pre-WWII Germany now use the same NZ X-Box to keep them absolutely apart -- meanwhile constantly juxtaposing each with its opposite. But this is just the form of poisonous discourse itself; "poison container" is a poison container.
What makes "poison containers" so uniquely valuable is the logical clarity of both the double sign use and what it, as a unity, communicates. One double Squares the other, cancelling questions of truth by the coincidence. The conceptual unity, through this, makes it a 'simple' idea, in the classical sense of "wholly contained in the understanding through itself". The fact that human historical Group-process in early 20th century Germany should so grotesquely illustrate what it can be used to juxtapose gives this "idea" metaphysical status.

The statue, work of at, or idol, "contains" the energy its supplicants feel; it projectively 'feels them back'. "I am he and he is me and we are all together." By their 'popularity', a particular Group-fantasy energy, John Lennon and The Beatles resonated on the same psychic bandwidths as The Jesus churches preached about, and he knew it. After all, they were mop-top British idol kids, turning on with Dylan, and crashing through into domains of mass consciousness to such an extent, with such unkown but inevitable historic conseuences, why shouldn't they parallel themselves with Bible idols? Their audience had to be a million or so larger; their message had to surely be as positive and all inclusive as Christianity; more up-to-date, if less mystical. Thus,"The Beatles', as a sign, S*, can be validly described as "psychic container" of a definite strain of content alternately recalled as "the 60's", "Vietnam war era", "liberal hey-day", etc..
Note on Lennon's parallel: it is a heroic moment when an artist Squares the Truth. It flips people out. He may have got the same treatment the first one did -- offed, as a "god sacrifice". To tie the circle: Jesus, who became Christ, is the container of Fetal Hero fantasies: Holy Spirit as Father; born, baptized, crucified, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, completing humanity's inner cycle. John Lennon became the Re-Born One, living out what "we", any one of us, would do if we were him. Because he was a good man. Gave up 'believing' in external soul containers. Being what he was was enough. This was a big '60's existential moment.

They are critical, pervasive issues in national discourse, which both of them, and ourselves, are required to use to participate in the democratic process. They concern matters of definition, or re-definion, of key terms used in public discourse for collective identities. Any discussion of them elicits great emotion. Even to bring them together, as attitudes which the process must contain if it is to have any unity,would be a feat of sanity far surpassing Jon Stewart's.
My thought is, these two particular well-rounded figures, not representing Big City culture, bonded by gender, divided by politics; both positive, articulate, forceful human beings with real accomplishments; with huge audience potential are uniquely positioned to shape MainStream America's language of self-reference -- "WHO WE ARE". So uniquely positioned, in fact, that I think it will not get done with best effect without it. The MSM is (required to be) too PC to even say the words (<= repression of dream-thoughts by censoring the tokens). The male view of the issues, while highly relevant, and I would propose myself as moderator, is less grounded in the lived experiences at issue. That leaves a huge opening for Harpur College, where she did graduate work in philosophy (with me, as a matter of fact, but that is another matter entirely) to seize the day, this historical moment, and make The Call: The University invites Ms's Lupardo and Palin to a public debate on these topics for these reasons.

My last 'on your mind' fb tag... was the last word of a NY Times editorial today 10.15.'10 -- "reborn", citing the valor of Louis Argua in holding the group of 33 together down in the mine; no loss of life, no apparent serious physical or mental disability, all pulled out after having been virtually given up for dead. This is an instance of common psychosemiotic content: the same thing, rebirth, seen and felt, I urged, as common humanity sympathy with sustained hope of life fulfilled.
Surely it deeply stirred me; surely numberless others alike.
This subtle innervation of the soul, however, was treated strangely, as if existentially threatened by such sudden happy denoument. Three 'dumps' were made on it:
What is happening is a combination of "fetal hero exhaustion" -- blotted up sympathy for 'all those around the world needing rescue'. First, Americrud TV obsessively shoved the "mistress instead of the wife greeted one" theme up everyone's nose. They'll show ya what those miner/(-ors <= Americrud media ) had to get out (were compelled by human instinct) to get back into -- The Birth Canal ("pussy"). Then, the NYTimes ran a p. A12 "news" article not exactly joyous: "Rescue Offers Redemption for a Region With a Dark Past", citing the 1973 coup of democratically elected government of SalvadorAllende by Gen. Augusto Pinochet; took place 37 years before the mine rescue almost to the day. Along with the story of humans infected with trial diseases in Guatamala, is a pretty big black hole in TokenSpace, right there. No wonder its hard to feel very re-born with these miners in Chile.
But nothing could testify more vividly to the contempt the heroic rescue was held in, than Jon Stewart's segment on The Daily Show.

Last night's "Daily Show" took a step away from midterm election coverage and focused on the rescue of the miners in Chile. As Jon Stewart noted, so did CNN - who called the breaking news "their brand" and whose intense focus on the coverage provided some hilarious moments.
CNN went all out, even having their reporters take turns standing in a life-size replica of the capsule in which the miners were brought to the surface. But the funniest moment during their coverage was when one anchor was studying footage of a young boy appearing to clutch a helmet and made a heartwarming speculation on air that perhaps it was a signed memento of the crew above for saving his father.
However, to merely leave it at that would ignore something else going on, linked to his recent "HURTY SANCHES" facesmash and his forthcoming sanity march, for which one would think he might go into training, if he's going to ad lib.

Like so many people around the world, we waited and prayed until the last Chilean miner and the last rescuer emerged from that improbably deep hole and was again free. In a world of so much division — and one where technology too often seems to be the enemy — the miners’ survival and rescue was truly deserving of national and global celebration.
