This was the End of Time reckoned through the Sun-Moon cycles of Aries-Pisces, returned as the White/Black Father/Mother's Child of American citizenship (Aquarius). Jesus' Crucifixion by Jewish-Roman politicos of the time manifested, for all time, the ends to which that axis of humanity is ever prepared to resort, to reverse condemnation of itself. The algebra for this in arabic numerals is the division of One into Seven: 7/1 = 0.142857142857142... etc etc ad inf.). Inscribed around the circle with 0 at the top, skipping 3-6-9/0, as in Gurdjieff's Enneagram, these six numbers, in that order, mark the "stopenders" on an imaginary line through them. The points marked can also be taken as vertices of any figure defined by seven connected lines passing through the circle. Soul-Talk for This Generation
RELIGION OF/FOR THIS GENERATION

The younger generation is trying to tell us, I think, that the unconscious group-fantasy material we of the older generation were conceived, born and nurtured under, like The Bible, is essentially naive stuff of childhoods past, like the Beatles. So ...even though they didn't ask for it, it is up to them*, thankfully freed from taking the old stuff seriously, to bring understanding of human nature up to date. More power to them with that.
But "the asterisk problem* blocks their* way. They*, indeterminate group of "this generation" individuals, know generally who*, but not what*, they* are, as true human beings. They've all got a Jesus-trip laid onto them, now, with extroverted unconscious (see others seeing). Too bad what happened to the first one in Jerusalem, but its "never again" time after that, from now on.
That's how lonely I think it must be a member of this age group in this cultural milieu today.
But HOPE - FAITH - LOVE, 4th turning - have been systematically distorted as impulses to psychic regeneration, by pre-emptive political predication. (see prev. blog). Each person, individually, has original instinctive access to these sources of motivation, but communicating with others via 'your vote', "we the people," "democracy," captures the texts of these old soul-Tokens, and turns their Holy energy into what they once opposed as Satanic.

Religious discourse may be said to express "Soul-thought", when
"soul" is used for the collective totality to which an "I" belongs. It is "I" under Moral judgment when the will is Holy. It's deepest, earliest psychodynamic motivation derives from the fetal origins of experience, the 'drive' to get out of the birth canal, Be Born, and live on the other side of the present trauma. Religious discourse may be said to express "Soul-thought", when

The strikingly synchronic thing about the Great Pyramid-Jerusalem-Mt. Ararat triad, today, is the detail of it's repetitions. For instance: Mt. Ararat, as S* in sentences, tracing a widely dissimulated Archetypal template.

Geographically, Mt. Ararat's peak marks corners of Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Kurdistan (Iraq). These texts, if properly translated, establish the existence of a higher-level, more textually inclusive "sentence" existing in olden times, bringing together the S* used as names. This would be "As Above", in the meme "As above, So below". "So Below" would be the distribution of alignments -- secular, political, social, military, trade, agriculture -- through the languages, by the people, through the years. The same psychodynamic acrimonies, affinities, etc. embodied in the ambient people's ways of life, would persist, supplying lines of connections when the Archetype re-assembled.

Life in the 60's wasn't all just gettin' high, growing soul and protesting the Vietnam war. There were genuine intellectual achievements most relevant today, among them the books "The Politics of Experience" (R.D. Laing) and "The Politics of Consciousness" (Leary and Alpert). Both concerned manipulation of consciousness, or content of individual and collective consciousness, by external powers and forces that constrained freedom of being and expression, relating especially to psychedelic drug use. As a regular category of philosophical discussion, "consciousness" had yet to acquire a grammar. It had become little more than a suspect term from alchemy, abused by spititualists, hucksters, psychoanalysts, paranormal explorers, faux metaphysicians and preachers -- never coming into its own, as a single subject (despite the legacy of Parmenides' Sphere). Critique of "Narrative History". (...it includes consciousness, but...)
A narrative told about what happened in the past is not history. It is true that anecdotes, vignettes, speeches and details of off-stage personal lives on-stage players often contain essential explanations of events. These get included in narration, whereas more strict factual summaries may omit them. But often also included are far-fetched legends, tales of exaggerated heroism, war victories that didn't occur, products of politics, vainglory and treason.
The ease with which historical narratives can be altered is illustrated by Assysian king Esarhaddon, Ashurbanapal's father, altering the number-sign for "70", in cuneiform, to "11", to signify shortening of Marduk's curse on Babylon for destruction of his temple. The inscriptions for sexagesimal system made the 60 + 10 sign look like the sign for eleven, when held upside down and read backward.

"in a moment when his heart was appeased,
"turned the tablet upside down
"and, in the eleventh year,
"approved the restoration."
It was beneficial to Esarhaddon to begin rebuilding Marduk's temple sooner; rebuilding could not be started without the Great God of all God's explicit permision; "70" in the original decree lookrd like 11, upside down. Wallah! Whether it is recorded that the Assyrian conqueror was smirking or not, he knew how to put words favorable to his cause in the mouth of Highest Authority. Just reverse the tokens until the right text comes up. It is amazing that this instance of most ancient, pre-Biblical chicanery was recorded, and deciphered by Z. Sitchin. But transdimensionally more amazing still are The 11's in today's Tokenography.

In just the past few years, there have been terrorist attacks in Milan and Mexico on the date of Oct. 11, and in Algeria on Apr. 11 and Dec. 11. Then, of course, there were the attacks in Spain on March 11 and in the United States on Sept. 11. After the Algerian bombings, Michelle Tsai looked into whether the pattern means anything.

The Jesus Trip ... soul to soul
THE JESUS TRIP soul-to-soul
Part I. Background
The "Jesus trip" was a 60's meme, coined for devotees of altered states of consciousness of people filled simultaneously with ("present to") 1. themselves, and 2. humanity. Their obsession was hardly anomalous, as an Archetype (see Part II). Part of the scheme of things.
A coincident historical factor was the Vietnam war. For those for whom gettin' high* lifted their mental state to 1. what they were, to-and-for-themselves; 2. the humanity in them was called upon to focus on the Vietnam War. So, out of the psychedelic era of Tim Leary, R. Crumb, Charles Manson and day-glo busses of tripped out itenerants, also emerged howling Jesus trippers. (I count Ginsberg, when he was still himself)
I was one of these, by religious background, philosophy, teaching experience. Assistant professor at Harpur College at the time, reading that a student of preceding year's classes had been killed in Vietnam aroused in me what could be called 'adopted son' syndrome. There was all the beauty, creativity, freedom. "They can't let me die," But this was one they did. Why? This has been my undeviating 60's Jesus-trip life question. Question of father-son relations and child sacrifice had spilled over into Exiztence* ("Dasein"). (...now returned, in Israel's use of "Existential threat" to justify bombing Iran)
By religious background, from Lockney, Texas, to Baylor University,
Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (I yr), called to preach (licensed, not ordained). Repeated full-participation weekly church experience from earliest family recollections, followed by layers-upon-layers of textual and personal elaboration, left a deposit of New Testament soul template* of a child raised in that setting, '40's-50's. It is the experiential ground of Jesus-to-Christ life trajectory story constructed below.
By philosophy, post graduate at late 50's U. of Wisconsin, through study of sign-use; how humanity, learned and colloquial, communicates.
Through the token-intensive Symbol, linkage to Archetypes is kept alive. These communicate collective content of pre-historical, transpersonal consciousness. (<= e.g. in Western Europe, S* for clans, Houses, Courts"; woven into cloth as flags, kilt, uniforms, etc.). As a mode of communication, Symbol display goes with group-ritual, special ullulation, expressive movements (rhythmic, but not voluptuous) in sacral places. That is to say: the religous*. (*S*5vii)
From Religion to Philosophy => From Token to Text
Text is the proper study of philosophy: use of language to communicate what is true or false, or fact. In the pure form of text required for scientific discourse, the Symbolic function of tokens is entirely suppressed. The function of special tokens is to 'privatize' the subjective ground of discourse by attaching them to empirical conscious associations. Scientific work, accessible to verification independent of all such subjective associations, requires only the bare skeleton of nine primitive Symbols of logical syntax. The logical test of organized theory is self-consistency; the application of this test is validity of inference in hypothetico-deductive Systems*; the pure form of hypothetico-deductive Systems*, determining validity, is given by the primitive signs and observational operations of their use (<=the Logical Syntax of Language). This summarizes, or contains* the metaphysics of the meta-language of science* as organized discourse. The work of Logical Positivism purged the ideal language of factual discourse of Symbolic tokens to which special religious meanings attach.
This was proper and largely unchallenged; but it's entailment was psychosemiotic catastrophe. It split the factual reality communicated by text from the existential reality communicated by the token, in thinking totalities of S*. The objective ground of rational perception through causes tell one story; the subjective ground of conscious unity in relating to it tells another. One is science; the other religion. One uses signs*, the other, Symbols. Each act of communication brings together components of both. This explains how an atomic physicist can sit in the church pew and pray for rain. It seems contradictory for the same man to be taking both as "true", until his resolution of them as text and token is considered as a personal place of consciousness. Unfortunately, Science* has been digitally fused with Symbolic (re-) projections, legitimized soley through people's politically encouraged 'belief'.
TokenSpace, opened up by psychosemiotics, links text and token in a new, freer way. Opening that domain of intellectual freedom is the contibution to which this Trip aspires. It's formal completion can be conceived, as requiring an Ideal Meta-language common to science, religion, politics, government, economics, morality, culture and health -- the full spectrum of Token types. In practice, it is a work in progress (the S* matrix). If consciousness can be brought into unity with itself through sign-use, it ought to be completable and available for use in addressing the collective totality. My work here is an experiment in that.
The primary task has been uncovering what it was, as a totality.
Then, from the process of doing that and seeing what it entailed, coming to think it is what is. Once the snake brain position of consciousness takes over, it reverses being-rationality. That is why metaphysics must ground sign-use, rather than vice versa

The Metaphysics of True Gospel Christianity
Part II. THE METAPHYSICS OF GOSPEL CHRISTIANITY

As voluminously explained elsewhere, and I taught for 20 years at Harpur College, this mantra ("TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH") is code for killing children.
Also: for Child sacrifice, as philosophy of religion speaks of it, dated in the not-too-distant past. They were still tossin' 'em into Moloch's volcanic jaws in Carthage in Roman times.
The story of baby Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary*, was of Our** fetal hero, one who grew up to understand and confront this Group-psychotic behavior pattern all the way through. Old Biblical Jews of the period, remnant of an earlier advanced civilization clustered around Jerusalem, were chosen* as vehicle of this message-from-Above*. It, this Word-before-Words existed, was redeemption*** for humanity who believed in, and followed the path of fetal Hero* from Birth to Death.
***In the sense of deliverance from the accursed religious practice of child sacrifice. *And it was precisely these Old Jew's voices, whose bond of identity traced to this practice, who called "crucify him!", as he willingly hung on the Cross to complete the totality of His**** mission.
The asterisks mark the major psychosemiotic moments of GOSPEL CHRISTIANITY, as I was taught and learned it. It was about the sacrifice of sacrifice itself. That was, and is, it's Double-Square format. Humanity, in its highest form. is depicted as merging with Cosmic Completing Totality, willingly, through an act of faith, externally unconfirmed.
But the flip-side**** (<= 4th turning) of this Squared Circle of human Birth-to-Death trajectory via The Word^ ... is: double condemnation of Old Adam's Once-Born way of child/youth sacrifice, as Cain killed the nobler Abel.
This is the story of Christ* told in today's ultra-condensed use of language (System S*); how this sign-use has come to exist, communicating what it does. The psychosemiotic of Christ*logic is this: it cannot be denied without incuring (at S*iv) moral self-contradiction (<=will-not-to-merge with redeeming impulse).
"Denial" is not in itsmetaphysics as a position of consciousness. It is rejection of it; the inner Mark of Cain. (After the New Testament Book of Hebrews, it becomes "sin against the holy spirit", unforgiveable because willed for its own sake.) Psychohistorically, it's cosmological settling is Sumerian, not Semitic. The inner identity of Jesus, Son of God by the Virgin Mary, sacrificed on the Cross, raised from the grave after 3 days, is what is brought from transhistorical times as Christ.
This is the message of True Gospel Christianity to humanity: Your original sin is forgiven if, but only if, Old Adam is replaced in your life by New. He* cannot not meet such an act of faith on the part of those who truly believe.

The asterisks mark the major psychosemiotic moments of GOSPEL CHRISTIANITY, as I was taught and learned it. It was about the sacrifice of sacrifice itself. That was, and is, it's Double-Square format. Humanity, in its highest form. is depicted as merging with Cosmic Completing Totality, willingly, through an act of faith, externally unconfirmed.
But the flip-side**** (<= 4th turning) of this Squared Circle of human Birth-to-Death trajectory via The Word^ ... is: double condemnation of Old Adam's Once-Born way of child/youth sacrifice, as Cain killed the nobler Abel.
This is the story of Christ* told in today's ultra-condensed use of language (System S*); how this sign-use has come to exist, communicating what it does. The psychosemiotic of Christ*logic is this: it cannot be denied without incuring (at S*iv) moral self-contradiction (<=will-not-to-merge with redeeming impulse).
"Denial" is not in itsmetaphysics as a position of consciousness. It is rejection of it; the inner Mark of Cain. (After the New Testament Book of Hebrews, it becomes "sin against the holy spirit", unforgiveable because willed for its own sake.) Psychohistorically, it's cosmological settling is Sumerian, not Semitic. The inner identity of Jesus, Son of God by the Virgin Mary, sacrificed on the Cross, raised from the grave after 3 days, is what is brought from transhistorical times as Christ.
This is the message of True Gospel Christianity to humanity: Your original sin is forgiven if, but only if, Old Adam is replaced in your life by New. He* cannot not meet such an act of faith on the part of those who truly believe.

The field of talk-about-talk is all-inclusive: from language spoken in ivory towers to the argot of New Jersey streets; from all age/educational levels, political brackets, bloodline-ethnic-religious heritages (<-excessive "I-You" not encouraged) to every blogspot on-line (featuring my own, of course sidthomas.blogspot.com). The concept is to claim a new degree of freedom in sign use, by grammatical ("we") shift to the meta-level of discourse, variably specified. As if placing "mental quotation marks" around every sign S* caught in the act of communicating, and commenting on that (the item 'framed' by the quotation marks is the sign-in-use, or S*). This is the same as entertaining a thought, but non-asserted, proposition -- "considering". The common basis of quotation marks and mental framing is "consciousness". (<= the enclosure " "-"" Squares placental-fetal containment by consciousness-thought containment.)
Note: quotation marks are said to "mention" vs. "use" the enclosed expression in standard introductiry logic texts (cf. Quine, Copi). "Mention" vs. "use" is taken as a primitive psychosemiotic distinction, used according to substitution rules of operational token-identity (e.g., perception) vs. assumption of meaning-synonymy, thus not subject to error, in principle. This pre-logical distinction, taken from common discourse, is based squarely on ("Squares") the distinction between token and text. Acts such as staging "GAY" protest signs at U.S. military funerals, linking that with cause of their death, belong to the meta-linguistic category of Arch*Absurd.
This can be used to clarify the point previously made about Justice*, that it* cannot be properly discussed in contexts that use the term itself to automatically block such S*-totality considerations. The conceptual problem arises when considering the possibility that such flagrant, off-the-wall absurd vignettes are staged by agents provacateurs, or "black flag" instigaters, in order to excite political reaction. What would be "justice" in their case? The legal language for judging "fake hate", "black flag" criminality has yet to be coined in America's "justice" system. In fact, there have been intimations that SCOTUS justices might be eyeing a "ends justifies the means" justification which would virtually wink at perpetrators. An Ironic Twist* impacting the latent legal decision: "How to Tell if Your Husband is Gay", title of viral ChristWire article, picked up by Huffington Post for discussion, illustrates this psychosemiiotic fact: the question used as spoof does not arise in same-sex "marriages"! (<=obvious, but has to be said to be taken squarely)

The following should be written because what it is about is so starkly prototypical, illustrating birth-trauma regression in 'story templates' across the spectrum of TV sign-use. In which every S*, long and short, commercial and program alike, carries out yet another layer, and variation, of the poison-blood purge-by-child sacrifice-for-rebirth psychosis. Each person, in their own way, according to their somatization of history by "We" identified group-delegate position ("me" with "we" of Protestant enlightenment => America 1800 -1850 ...1996 =>2000 => 2010 9.1 =>) participates in this template; it is no more a matter of choice than breathing.
Personal item: I was noted at SUNY for "speaking the obvious", as Bob Sterling, a colleague and mentor of mine once well put it. Which is relevant, because this is more of the same, and tomorrow as well, since my estimate of what humanity has come to, served by its media of mass communication unable to do so, threatens planetary health history, if I'm right. It didn't take attack on 'The Discovery Channel by "Asian male" James J. Lee to see/say it. Which is why the obvious can't be spoken (= full-conscious repression). (Where'd he get the money?)
Obama's Tuesday, 8.31 "Turn the Page/game changing" speech skidded by two major unresolved, but related, S* (sign-use) issues: the '06 "Surge" and "Zionism". This mainly concerns the first.
The troop surge into Iraq, after vote of the people in the Mid-term election had unmistakably called for withdrawal, had been opposed by Obama, himself. That is why John McCain, who campaigned on its approval, with Lieberman at his side every step of the way, made sounds about clarifying his position now. Overtly: no response. But in the breach: he repeats Bush reversal of the public's will-to-exit by beefing up Afghanistan.
<= this page didn't get turned. It's stuck underground with forever-unborn fetuses in the birth canal, and the miners in Chili. (Sending nourishment and reassurance down there until Christmas...it'll take 4 months, then 4 hours to lift out each man.) So, while all best efforts are being made from the top down to "Turn the Page", these unresolved psychohistorical (f)issu(r)es 'down below' continue to blacken collective consciousness merely by depicting them. We ain't gonna get out. (Relieve planet of "birth of parasitic children".)
contaminatesion of consciousness by this '06 reversal of American democratic processes is a perfect -- and suitable -- outlet for fetal rage (<= heart-wrenching, gut-wretching somaticization of "poisoned in the womb" unconcious group-fantasy.) A common fallacy of superficial samplers of psychohisorical literature is that it is about 'ideas', 'beliefs', 'paths' or other dismissable notions, as opposed to how they perforce experience their own human body processes, whatever text is used to communicate about it. This ignores the factor of somaticization of group process, aka 'hysterical conversion.
Turning on TV and seeing* what is presented has to make a normal person literally sick at the stomach. If they don't get sick to the stomach, they haven't seen* it. "Has to" "literally" because of the gap between the impulse reactions elicited and experienced as emotional ripple; vs. the reality implicitly sensed or known, which is altogether different, even contradictory. Adult voices uttered by toddlers comparing race cars logos starts (empathetic cute little guy reaction)!..then stops (whoa.. exploitation!) => leaving the person a little sickened by 'having fallen for it', again. When the inexorable, unremitting fluxion of icons, idols, emoticoned images becomes dull-normal, a steady arouse/surpress toxic process sets in. Poisoning the waters of communication => poisoning the instinctive flow of group-process.
Hardly any such riff in the MSM hit me as bizzare as Glenn Beck's closing segment on Fox News 9.1 5:59. As closely remembered as possible: "A father was overheard at the Holocaust Museum talking to his son the day before the Tea Party rally on the capitol mall. 'Son, today you are going to see man at his worst. Tomorrow, you are going to see man at his best.' -- see you tomorow!" What you see* here is Fox News/Glenn Beck franchise, representing the 'right wing Tea Party', therefore latently pro-Nazi by MSM standards, signing off with Father-Son anti-Nazi Holocaust reminder. Invoking the notion of transparency, one could say:
"transparent support for both sides assumed to be at war", as NAZI<=>ZION.
Sickening as this was, it was followed up by another layer of constructed political PR. Switching channels to MSNBC brought up The Ed show, leading in with ... attack on Glenn Beck for not caring about jobs lost abroad! (<= tax breaks for the rich, CEO bonuses, Murdoch-WSJ billionair, Mormon and other minority religion God-talkers). When 'the game' is seen for what it is, predicating solemnly on self-contradictory opposites as if on fact, calling for the perpetually titilated, tweaked, tortured audience to go!-stop!, disambiguating every assertion by personal approbation, the sickness is overwhelming.

WASHINGTON D.C. Hostage situation in Montgomery Co.
Deliberately staged for Symbolic Effect (reported as such) by agitator at the Discovery Challel (food for the intellect for hungry TV masses. 'Suspect' Asian male James Lee was known for 'over the top' insistance on "save the planet" programming (as R.P. Hansson was known for over-the-top right-wing patriotism, spying for Soviet Russia since 1975).
<= the '02 DC sniper terror was recalled, beginning the day after Bush Press Sec. Ari Fleisher had said "for the price of a single bullet" refering to regime change in Baghdad by killing Sadam Hussein. The series of mass random killings disrupted the Mid-Term election process dynamics, as the entire nation felt terrorized for those people.
<=the 1978 Iranian hostage crisis is evoked. It brought Jimmy Carter down because he refused to use force to rescue them, as it would have almost certainly have meant their death. This was a child-sacrifice dividing line at the time. Reagan was for using force. The crisis lasts 444 days, ending with Reagan's election and their release. Obama is 44th president, arriving at Chicago to do social work about then. These coincident tokens may evoke a 'so what?' shrug, but their effect begins to add up, as what was used had to have been used; or else the illegal "Contra" war, in which "one man's freedom fighter is another mans terrorist", with "bleeding heart liberals" excoriated as moral relativists, could not have come to pass. The movie Alien, released in '79, notoriously captures Monster Birth brought to earth from outer Space, brilliantly interpreted by Brandon Emerick as the historical advent of Lloyd deMause's Poisonous Placenta in this dazzling Hollywood artifact. This movie, the Iranian hostage situation and the Jonestown massacre were the group-fantasy bell-tolls inaugurating Reagan's era.
Psychlogically "hostages" are fetuses; "we" of American nationality are bonded to those ensnared in Iran's Poisonous Placental web, depicted as the Ayotollah Khomenie in turban and flowing robes, denouncing The Great Satan. Reagan's election was a staged re-birth drama, and this was before he got shot. His stature as Iron Man for shrugging off the wound, opposing communism, projecting military might and sacrificing children was only to become legandary later, as trickle-down economics began sucking dollars upward. By his acts, and in America's unconcious group-fantasy, Reagan became America's rapist-killer "Father" of youth patriotically lining up to be sacrificed. These were the same psychoclass who went along with Jack Kennedy's war for Catholicism in VIetnam. It is the "just follow The Old Man's Orders" Nazi mentality. As a mode of manhood, it was overtaken by post '60's males, as arrested psycho-sexual development, willing to take The Child Sacrificing Father's abuse in order to curry favor and get booty. This is the Freudian strain left by the Vietnam war '60's suck-ups (mainly on college campuses; one had to respect legitimate use of the military, but Harpur faced that down, once). These, morphed into the moralistic, national religious neocons, Buckley Catholics with Netanyahu Jews, are the under-side, Father (killing/kill for) Poisonous Placenta Monster fetuses.

It didn't take attack on 'The Discovery Channel by "Asian male" James J. Lee to see/say it. Which is why the obvious can't be spoken (= full-conscious repression). (Where'd he get the money?)
Obama's Tuesday, 8.31 "Turn the Page/game changing" speech skidded by two major unresolved, but related, S* (sign-use) issues: the '06 "Surge" and "Zionism". This mainly concerns the first.
The troop surge into Iraq, after vote of the people in the Mid-term election had unmistakably called for withdrawal, had been opposed by Obama, himself. That is why John McCain, who campaigned on its approval, with Lieberman at his side every step of the way, made sounds about clarifying his position now. Overtly: no response. But in the breach: he repeats Bush reversal of the public's will-to-exit by beefing up Afghanistan.

contaminatesion of consciousness by this '06 reversal of American democratic processes is a perfect -- and suitable -- outlet for fetal rage (<= heart-wrenching, gut-wretching somaticization of "poisoned in the womb" unconcious group-fantasy.) A common fallacy of superficial samplers of psychohisorical literature is that it is about 'ideas', 'beliefs', 'paths' or other dismissable notions, as opposed to how they perforce experience their own human body processes, whatever text is used to communicate about it. This ignores the factor of somaticization of group process, aka 'hysterical conversion.
Turning on TV and seeing* what is presented has to make a normal person literally sick at the stomach. If they don't get sick to the stomach, they haven't seen* it. "Has to" "literally" because of the gap between the impulse reactions elicited and experienced as emotional ripple; vs. the reality implicitly sensed or known, which is altogether different, even contradictory. Adult voices uttered by toddlers comparing race cars logos starts (empathetic cute little guy reaction)!..then stops (whoa.. exploitation!) => leaving the person a little sickened by 'having fallen for it', again. When the inexorable, unremitting fluxion of icons, idols, emoticoned images becomes dull-normal, a steady arouse/surpress toxic process sets in. Poisoning the waters of communication => poisoning the instinctive flow of group-process.
Hardly any such riff in the MSM hit me as bizzare as Glenn Beck's closing segment on Fox News 9.1 5:59. As closely remembered as possible: "A father was overheard at the Holocaust Museum talking to his son the day before the Tea Party rally on the capitol mall. 'Son, today you are going to see man at his worst. Tomorrow, you are going to see man at his best.' -- see you tomorow!" What you see* here is Fox News/Glenn Beck franchise, representing the 'right wing Tea Party', therefore latently pro-Nazi by MSM standards, signing off with Father-Son anti-Nazi Holocaust reminder. Invoking the notion of transparency, one could say:
"transparent support for both sides assumed to be at war", as NAZI<=>ZION.
Sickening as this was, it was followed up by another layer of constructed political PR. Switching channels to MSNBC brought up The Ed show, leading in with ... attack on Glenn Beck for not caring about jobs lost abroad! (<= tax breaks for the rich, CEO bonuses, Murdoch-WSJ billionair, Mormon and other minority religion God-talkers). When 'the game' is seen for what it is, predicating solemnly on self-contradictory opposites as if on fact, calling for the perpetually titilated, tweaked, tortured audience to go!-stop!, disambiguating every assertion by personal approbation, the sickness is overwhelming.

'Suspect' Asian male James Lee was known for 'over the top' insistance on "save the planet" programming (as R.P. Hansson was known for over-the-top right-wing patriotism, spying for Soviet Russia since 1975).
<= the '02 DC sniper terror was recalled, beginning the day after Bush Press Sec. Ari Fleisher had said "for the price of a single bullet" refering to regime change in Baghdad by killing Sadam Hussein. The series of mass random killings disrupted the Mid-Term election process dynamics, as the entire nation felt terrorized for those people.
<=the 1978 Iranian hostage crisis is evoked. It brought Jimmy Carter down because he refused to use force to rescue them, as it would have almost certainly have meant their death. This was a child-sacrifice dividing line at the time. Reagan was for using force. The crisis lasts 444 days, ending with Reagan's election and their release. Obama is 44th president, arriving at Chicago to do social work about then. These coincident tokens may evoke a 'so what?' shrug, but their effect begins to add up, as what was used had to have been used; or else the illegal "Contra" war, in which "one man's freedom fighter is another mans terrorist", with "bleeding heart liberals" excoriated as moral relativists, could not have come to pass. The movie Alien, released in '79, notoriously captures Monster Birth brought to earth from outer Space, brilliantly interpreted by Brandon Emerick as the historical advent of Lloyd deMause's Poisonous Placenta in this dazzling Hollywood artifact. This movie, the Iranian hostage situation and the Jonestown massacre were the group-fantasy bell-tolls inaugurating Reagan's era.
Psychlogically "hostages" are fetuses; "we" of American nationality are bonded to those ensnared in Iran's Poisonous Placental web, depicted as the Ayotollah Khomenie in turban and flowing robes, denouncing The Great Satan. Reagan's election was a staged re-birth drama, and this was before he got shot. His stature as Iron Man for shrugging off the wound, opposing communism, projecting military might and sacrificing children was only to become legandary later, as trickle-down economics began sucking dollars upward. By his acts, and in America's unconcious group-fantasy, Reagan became America's rapist-killer "Father" of youth patriotically lining up to be sacrificed. These were the same psychoclass who went along with Jack Kennedy's war for Catholicism in VIetnam. It is the "just follow The Old Man's Orders" Nazi mentality. As a mode of manhood, it was overtaken by post '60's males, as arrested psycho-sexual development, willing to take The Child Sacrificing Father's abuse in order to curry favor and get booty. This is the Freudian strain left by the Vietnam war '60's suck-ups (mainly on college campuses; one had to respect legitimate use of the military, but Harpur faced that down, once). These, morphed into the moralistic, national religious neocons, Buckley Catholics with Netanyahu Jews, are the under-side, Father (killing/kill for) Poisonous Placenta Monster fetuses.
