Every rational person understands the logical law of non-contradiction. (The same proposition cannot be both true and false; in symbols, the conjunction "p. ~p" is necessarily false.) This has been accepted since Descartes (circa 1640) as certain, indubitable, known lclearly and distinctly through the meanings of the terms used.

Much less readily perceived, however, are actual violations. And the conjunction of propositions asserted alongside others that are, or imply, their own falsehood can occur in many ways. People contradict themselves in many ways.

It can happen in the most succinct way imaginable, right underneath our very noses, when the texts of signs used in communication reverse what the displayed tokens indicate. Tokens are fungible bearers of textual meanings, as synonymous words can be interchanged for the same idea. For example, when "freedom" is
uttered approbatively in contexts that legitimize servitude, its meaning* reverses what its utterance would indicate. This most succinct, vicious and toxic form of self-contradiction has not heretofore been logically analyzed. It is the ultimate, degenerate case of twistedness in sign-use, rounding out Jonathan Schell's vivid overview of lying and deception by McCain/Palin jackboots.

Note. The notion of psychosemiotic self contradiction is in George. Orwell's 1984 ("slavery is freedom" "war is peace") However, Orwell does not explain how he arrived at his great insight that Big Brother would explicitly conjoin opposites, in this way, to achieve hive - mind control, though it seems obvious once pointed out. Nor did he account for how such a condition came about, to my recollection. What us seen now in S* predicating everywhere on the negation of their own tokens can be an intermediate stage. One also thinks of the mysterium conjunctionis in Carl Jung's enantiodromia.

The name Palin, attached to the female Governor of Alaska, conjoined with McCain, Vietnam War sacrifice, revives him, 'again'. The tokens switch, brought to him, by her, by way of marriage as well as etymology, reloads, replays and would redeem the memory of 53,000 others whose names are on the Memorial wall. McCain, Vietnam War sacrifice again. And again. Forever.

Palin, as individual/Archetype, is the Egyptian Goddess Isis restoring her Brother Osiris, McCain, to life, in order that he might impregnate her with the Male child Horus. Barring a late, late term abortion in the next two weeks, this mythology could play out.

This leaves matters up to Obama. He must be elected to prevent birth of the HORUS monster. But then, recalled --unless he will purge government of reverse predication.
