A. Reconstructing What Is through illocutionary force.

Ilocutionary force is the effect that the fact-stating content of a communication has on Brain 1 consciousness. The "informational" or textual function of the signs used in it.

The magnitude of its effect depends on the congruence of the relevance of the information with the motive/agendae defining the situation. Analogy, more or less strict, is the loom on which the mental tapestry is woven. Strict analogy is one-one correspondence of two things x and y when:.

where P is a property (point-set, S*-category, etc.) specified independently of x and y.



Theory of individual objects

The individuals in the universe are objects referred to by ultimate names. Ultimate names are 'rigid designators'. Rigid designators are substitution instances of x,y for all P in the field of application of a.

B. DECONSTRUCTING GENESIS

Perlocutionary force is the emotive/motivational effect of brains2/3 on consciousness. It is linked to what can be pictured. It is content of the 5 senses qua phenomenal (S*), re-presented to consciousness in the upper triad through the token: illustration, narrative, mythopoesis, metaphor, cartoon, sight gag, etc. (Cf. G. Gurjieff: the 5 objective characteristics)

II. Three Brain Analysis

Brain 2 and brain compete for textual consciousness as soul vrs. instinct.

The fundamental inner moral act is the orientation of consciousness toward the results of the flow of process through brain 2 or brain 1. There is an inner stop-valve, or choice-switch, for opening one or the other, and both at the same time with brain 1 in states of action from totality. When the switch opens the valve to brain 2, consciousness processes what is called "soul" in objective psychosemiotics. Opening the valve to brain 3 brings, most relevantly in the normal flow of life, the sexual impulses, and, with them, the various mechanisms (automatic behavioral manifestations) the neuro-psychic trajectory has deposited to deal with the energy. "Soul" is not intrinsically opposed to "Sex", though the brain 3 function is stilled in church and school by making the children sit down and shut up. This allows brain 2 content to take the lead in forming the cognitive memory functions (hippocampal memory). These carry little insistence without desire to learn and know, which is the brain 1/2 confluence defining the "as above" for the brain 1/3 confluence "so below".

The Upper Triad of Sign-uses, theological, philosophical, existential (S*7-6-5) require participation of the soul brain in order to achieve conscious personal results. It is the soul brain that differentiates the "I" of S*5 through the "Theos-" of S*7", by way of the "Logos" of S*6. Socrates defined philosophy as "tendance of the soul". "God", in psychosemiotic terms, is the token of the completing totality given under sign use (S*). (The S*^ of the Universe, or Universe*^.)

As as sign-use, God* has a Dark Side. That is because the totality of the three brain experience of an individual includes (as has only recently been realized by the intellectual world) the fetal origins all share in the womb. This is a source of 'innate', but not identical (a distinction not available to Descartes), formed content of brain 3. The Placental Container of the original conscious formation flooding back through a "we" group-fantasy of siblings in a single Mother's Womb Surround: Phantom Nurturer ("from whom all blessings flow" -- the Logos-ecstatic side of God*) v. Poisonous Sea Monster. The Dark side of God* as a sign opens the gate to the Reptile Brain, though is not identical with it, and it is a calumny against religion to assumes its influence derives only from opposing the lower flow of process. (fearing punishment for 'listening to the voice of satan' saying "sex is wrong, but that's OK."). With the inner separation between the work of the two brains fixed in consciousness, soul and sexuality do not necessarily compete as controlling functions. Jung notes, as an aside, that one thing that drove primitive people to uncontrollable mass violence was being subject to "loss of soul". Interpreted here, that would be loss of the active psychosemiotic force of their God*.

Brain 3 dominates totality of Brain 1.2 function. Completion of life as human reptile.

B. Seducer of Eve to defy the Father. unconscious Oedipal symbolism. Childhood fantasies of intercourse as male-castration in punishment for competing with all powerful Father for love of Mother; female empowerment by desire; and, on the female side itself, fantasies of rape and defense against impulses of love. Such would be the developmental opposites crystalizing as the formed personality, largely unchanged after 6-7 years of age.

C. Personified as Talking Serpent in the Garden of Eden
as strict analogy of the story of how the three brains relate to consciousness in the adult, having transited from fetal origins through Oedipal development, as two already structured unconscious strata, or levels, of process expended in manifestation of personality.
